July 25, 2009 It was a rainy day in Kiso

I went to Adera river where it is arm of Kiso river.
It didn't rain on that area in the morning. After the morning, however,
it rained. I felt bad because of that rain. I would like to fish on a fine day.
So, I quitted fishing at 9:00AM though I started at 6:30AM.

There was much quantity of water of this river.

July 18, 2009 Otaki river

It was a rainy day and Otaki river was swollen.
I wanted to go a headwater but the swollen washed me out.

July 11, 2009 It was humid...

I went to a arm of Otaki river. This river streams into Miura pond.
As usual I started from early morning and approached a destination
by bicycle.

On this day, I used a medium flex's rod. I only caught a small
fish. But I felt as if it a big fish!

BTW, I met a Japanese serow at the headwater of this river. She/He
ran away along with the river... So, a point of fishes were spoiled...
And I watched a small black bear.

July 4th, 2009 the season of terrestrials has come

Japan is the rainy season now...
But I thought it was not rain this day by watching a weather forecast.
As expected, it was shine.

Fishes seemed to prefer a dun at the morning(~9:00AM). After that,
they seemed to prefer a terrestrial. I used ant pattern flies.

[Red-spotted masu salmon which is called "Amago"]
